- The Sunrise Run will be held on Saturday May 19, 2012. The event, supporting the Vacaville Sunrise Rotary Club and Neurofibromatosis CA, is regarded as one of the most scenic, rural point-to-point half marathons and 10K events in Northern California. The Half Marathon and 10K are gently rolling road distances with aid stations stocked with water and electrolyte replacement fluids every two miles. The majority of these courses wind through the beautiful Pleasant’s Valley Road countryside. The 5K Run/Walk circles Alamo Park and passes the Historic Buck Avenue. All events finish at the event stadium at Vacaville High School with post-race refreshments and the event EXPO. Start time for the Half Marathon is 7am; 10K starts at 7:30am.
