Campaign Season is "in the air"
It's that time of year again where we need to start
thinking the leadership for next year's board. Start
talking to your fellows in the club who you would like to see as
President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary and encourage them
to run. We are looking for volunteers to help with the elections
committee. In order to be on the committee, you can not be
running for any office. The committee will serve as the
independent body to encourage people to run, count the ballots, and
monitor the election process.
According to SFFR Bylaws -
A Nominating Committee of three members will be formed: It shall be the duty of this committee to encourage members to run
for office and to nominate one or more candidates for each office to be filled at the Annual Meeting in December. Candidates for office
shall be selected only from among the members of the FrontRunners. The Nominating Committee shall report its nominations and other nominations by mail to the
membership no later than 14 days prior to the Annual Meeting in the form of an absentee ballot. Additional nominations from the floor will be permitted at the
Annual Meeting.

Synopsis: Shocked by the premature death of a closeted former classmate, two gay friends, Mel (Steven Lim) and Ash (Chowee Leow) are forced to reexamine the state of their own lives and ponder what the future holds. Troubled by the idea of growing old alone, the pair embarks on a quest to find love and happiness with the dream men they're sure await them both. Writer-director Ray Yeung's outrageous comedy also stars Gareth Rhys Davis and Neil Collie. For a preview.

11th Annual Little Black Dress Run - October 2
The date is set for the LBD run. Let's hope there are no thunderstorms! I still have my black dress that I had just bought at Ross last year that I didn't get to show cause the lightning scared me. Just today, I bought some jewelry at a yard sale to doll it up some. Check out the photos of last years Little Black Dress Run.
