Here's another does of Weekly Recap!

Happy Friday all! Time to recap everything FrontRunners from the past week. We’ve compiled photos and links to help give a good summary of the happenings of this last week, and we encourage you to explore the post at your own leisure.
Here we go!
This last week we enjoyed April Movie Night in Bernal Heights, celebrated our 2012 Easter Bonnet Run, continued Interval Training with SF Track & Field Club, planned the 2012 Pride Run Sponsor Party, and held our April SFFR Board Meeting… all in addition to our usual runs!
April Movie Night: Chris Neal graciously hosted April Movie Night. The movie was Big Eden and attendees had pizza and salad. Thanks, Chris, for hosting movie night!
2012 SFFR Easter Bonnet Run: On Sunday, emcees Mike deLeon, Homer Perez, and Chuck Louden oversaw the 2012 SFFR Easter Bonnet Run.
Runners donned bonnets, baskets, masks, eggs, and ears, and we were treated to Easter candy and dyed eggs. Our winner was Rick Aguilar, 2012 SFFR Treasurer. Congrats, Rick! You can view the event and the bonnets in a video here (link), courtesy of Bob Callori.
SF Track and Field Club Interval Training: On Sunday, SF Track & Field Club continued interval training at SFSU at 10am, followed by brunch afterwards. For inquiries, Bob Callori can be reached at mens-contact@sffr.org. The Track & Field Club’s 2012 Pride Website is also now open for registration, so head on over if you are interested (link).
2012 SF Pride Run Sponsorship Party Planned: The 2012 Pride Run Sponsorship Party is now planned, thanks to the hard work from many, including host Katharine Holland, Eric Jansen, and many more. A special thanks toDan Joraanstad and Bob Hermann, who will offer their home for the May 3rd event. For more info on the event, check out our calendar entry (link).
April SFFR Board Meeting: The 2012 Board met this last Monday to discuss plans and ideas for the coming months, as well as further planning on the End of the Year Banquet. SFFR members Judith Kahan and Reggie Snowden joined us to discuss Women's Outreach ideas, including further improvements into Women's Outreach on the new website, a feature that we have been working on for quite some time now and hope to unveil at the beginning of May. Thanks to Rick Aguilar for hosting the April Board Meeting!
*Important Update on Women's Outreach: After 3 years of passionate and dedicated work as Women's Contact, Darlene Hall will be stepping down from her role. This means that we will now be looking for new people to take the helm and bring their ideas and perspectives to the table with Women's Outreach and new member outreach in general. Darlene has been a strong advocate for Women's Outreach and LesBiQ Lane, which she founded, and we hope that the next Women's Outreach contacts can honor her efforts. For a statement on Darlene's decision and updates on other Women's Outreach efforts, head over to our news section (link).
Dive Bar Birthday Reminder: This evening (Friday) is Dive Bar Birthday night at the Ganway. Judith Kahan has invited us all to celebrate her big milestone at the event and we hope everyone can make it. Full info here (link).
Bagel Brunch Reminder: Bagel Brunch is this Saturday, following the normal runs. Steve Benne of Molto Benne Catering (link) will once again offer an assortment of goodies. Full info here (link).
Member Card Reminder: If you have renewed or signed up for FrontRunners for 2012, you can pick up your card at any Saturday after the runs. You can also arrange for a time to get your card with any of the Board Members or other club contacts. Please note that we will be printing names for recently renewed/joined members every 2 weeks, so if you have renewed in the last week, you won’t have a card printed until a week from now.
Other News:
Golden State Warriors LGBT Night: Enjoy LGBT Night, presented by Esurance, with friends and family as the Golden State Warriors take on the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday, April 24th, at 7:30 p.m. You can contact Maria Serrano at mgserrano@gs-warriors.com to get more info on the event as well as a promo code for discounts on tickets.
As always, we welcome submissions for events, photos, news articles, and columns.
That covers it for this last week.
Enjoy your weekend and see you at the runs!
