Good morning! We hope your week is off to a good start and that you got to enjoy the wonderful weather we had this weekend.
Here is your weekly source of all things FrontRunners that are coming in the days ahead!
*Special Note on Online Information: Now that the new sffr.org site (link) is launched, we will be using that as the primary source of news and information from the club. We will still have our blog (link), twitter (link), and facebook (link) pages that will receive identical information from the official site. Because of this, you should be able to view accurate information on all online sites. If you are having trouble viewing anything at any of these options, please let us know (email vp@sffr.org).
*Some of you have been having trouble viewing news on our facebook page. Please note that there is an official SF FrontRunners Page (link). This is not the group page that many of you are members of, and is less an official page and more of a social and community page. For accurate information, simply “like” the official page and you will receive all news updates.
Regular Events This Week:
-Tuesday Evening Run - 6:30PM: Meet at the Ferry Building for a 3 mile (5K), 5 mile (8K), or hill run along Embarcadero. We typically grab dinner after.

-May Membership Registration-a-thon – Month of May – You may have noticed on our official site (link) that we have a huge, red arrow that says “Register” on it. This is part of our new goal to have all members for the 2012 year registered at the new site by the end of May. We will be cutting off all other email lists and email sources from previous sites and email lists on the 1st of June (this does not mean that we are cutting off our site, blog, twitter, or facebook… merely mass email lists from the past and any other past forms we have used). This means that if you want to receive the weekly emails and special updates, you’ll need to have registered on the new site and have a profile. In an effort to help everyone meet this goal, we will send you instructions on how to register, including any info on troubleshooting that members have had so far with the process. We will also be registering people, in-person, at May Bagel Brunch (link), and are looking at creating another event later in the month to help register everyone. Remember that if you already paid your dues, you will not have to repay them on the new site… there is a promo code that we have sent you that waives the fee. If you need the code again, are are experiencing any issues, please email vp@sffr.org with your problems and we will work hard to resolve them quickly.
-SF Track and Field Club’s 5th Annual Pride Meet registration is open. You can go to their site (link) for full information on how to register and all of the details on the event.
