You may have heard that SF FrontRunners Secretary, Robert Chan, is moving to Washington, DC, for a career opportunity in mid-June and must resign his position on the board.
We are sorry to see him go. Robert has been a strong contributor to organizing some of the high-profile social events associated with the club. He is the force behind organizing the Chinese New Year’s Banquet, a SFFR tradition since 2007 and also led the charge to secure a knock-your-socks-off venue for the 2012 end-of-the-year banquet. (More details on that later.) We will also miss Robert’s easygoing manner and his superb cooking at board meetings.
Robert plans to participate actively in DC Front Runners. Be sure to look him up if work or pleasure takes you to the nation’s capital.
Please join us in wishing Robert well at Bagel Brunch following this Saturday’s run.
