News and Events for This Week!

Happy Monday! Here is your weekly source of all things FrontRunners that are coming in the days ahead! Special news and events are at the beginning of this post and regular, reoccurring events are on the lower half. Pay close attention to the news about or August Theme Run.

Special Events/News This Week:

-Special Announcement: Member Month is planned! All events have been posted on our site in a special post that you can view here(link). To make this month a success, we really need everyone to spread the word about our club and the events, so that we can all enjoy it and attract newcomers! Think about what FrontRunners has done for you as a club member and how that experience and family can be positive for others.

-Announcement: We are seeking members who are interested in club positions for Secretary, Women’s Outreach, and Newcomer Outreach. If interested, please contact anyone on the board or send an email to board@sffr.org

-Announcement: Bagel Brunch is moved to the 3rd Saturday of August (18th) to coincide with our Theme Run (link).

-August Theme Run Voting - During Member Month, we are having a theme run on the 3rd Saturday of the month. The choices have been narrowed down to 2: 70's or Superheroes/Villains. 70's could be anything from disco and Tina Turner to hippies and Bjorn Borg. Superheroes is equally open - you can go as an existing hero or make up your own... all it requires is briefs/sports bras and a cape. Now comes the part where you, the membership, votes on the choice you want! Send your vote to vp@sffr.org by Thursday, August 9th, and we will announce the winning theme on Friday and during the Saturday Run!

-Women's Evening Run - Tuesday, August 7th - 6:30PM to 7:30PM - Ferry Building - We are having an additional Women's Run during our Tuesday evening walks/runs. If you are interested in checking the club out or know any women who might enjoy the run, let them know so we can have a nice group that evening! Full info here (link).

-SF FrontRunners Night with the Kinsey Sicks - Wednesday, August 8th 8:00PM to 10:00PM - Rrazz Room - Join your fellow FrontRunners as we enjoy an evening with the Kinsey Sicks! Also, every FrontRunner who attends will have a portion of their ticket go back to the club. Full info here (link).
