Friday at last! Here is your dose of weekly recap!
This last week we continued training with SF Track & Field Club, introduced our first entry in the new Sponsor Spotlight section, and put the finishing touches on our upcoming JOCK fundraiser… all in addition to our usual runs/walks!
SF Track & Field Club Interval Training Continues: Last Sunday, Bob Callori and two other SF Track & Field Club members tested their skills in discus, 100m sprint, and long jump at the All-Comers meet in Kentfield. It was a great place to experience competition.
At the regular training in Cox Stadium at SFSU, two groups have been created: Those who run short distances on the track and those who do interval training on the grass, including pushups, jumps, twists, and more. Ignoring the wet grass, we dove into our practices.

Sponsor Spotlight - Sports Basement: On Wednesday we introduced a new feature to our website -
Sponsor Spotlights (link). This section is similar to our Runner Bios, but covers all of our sponsors and gives you information about what they offer to our club.
Check out the first Sponsor Spotlight on Sports Basement here (link). Stay tuned for more to come! *Please note that you must be logged in to view the Sponsor Spotlights section of the site. You can still view the articles on the front page of the site as well
.
Reminder - SFFR JOCK Night at LOOKOUT this Sunday: On September 23rd, The LOOKOUT is hosting SF FrontRunners for our JOCK fundraiser event!

This event raises a good deal of funds for the club and it helps reduce costs for events or even makes them free. More info here (link). Help promote the event by going to the facebook event page (link) and inviting friends to attend. See you there!
Member Card Reminder: If you have renewed or signed up for FrontRunners for 2012, you can pick up your card at any Saturday after the runs. Allow for 2 weeks between registering and having your card printed. You can also email vp@sffr.org for a replacement.
As always, we welcome submissions for events, photos, news articles, and columns.
That covers it for this last week.
