News and Events for This Week!

We hope your weekend was full of fun and exciting things! Here is your weekly source of all things FrontRunners that are coming in the days ahead! Special news and events are at the beginning of this post and regular, reoccurring events are on the lower half.

Special Events/News This Week:

-Dive Bar Friday - 6:00PM to 9:00PM - The LOOKOUT: Our friends at the LOOKOUT are having their 5th birthday party and we are invited along to enjoy. For those of you who missed our JOCK fundraiser last night, or just want to spend some more time there, head over on Friday and hang out with SF FrontRunners and Friends! Note that while there is no smoking in he bar, people can smoke on the balcony outside of the bar (if anyone is sensitive to smoke). Full info here (link).

-Sunday Long Run Brunch - 11:45AM to 1:30PM - 471 Noe Street: Our Saturday and Tuesday running/walking crowds have enjoyed brunches and picnics following their walks and runs - Now it's the Sunday Long Runners' turn! Join us for a brunch following the Sunday Long Run. Cost if FREE for members and 5 for anyone else. Full info here (link).

*Special Announcement: It’s coming up on October and we will be changing the direction of our Saturday runs/walks once again. Beginning on Saturday, October 6th, we will be walking/running the 1-2, 3, 4, and 5 mile courses in the reverse direction from what we have currently been doing. If you’ve done it before, you know the drill. If it’s new to you, we will have people on each run helping lead the route.

*Special Announcement: We are seeking members who are interested in holding positions on the board next year, as well as continuing efforts of women's and newcomer outreach. For more info, shoot an email to board@sffr.org.
