March Bagel Brunch - 3/18
Join us for our monthly Bagel Brunch on Saturday, February 18th. Once again, the amazing Steve Benne of Molto Benne Catering will put on a delicious feast for $8 (cash-only please). SFFR/EBFRW Pride Night With The Oakland A's - 6/6
East Bay FrontRunners and Walkers President Darlene Hall and Reggie Snowden are helping organize a joint, EBFRW/SFFR night out at Pride Night for the Oakland A's game on June 6th. There are 10 tickets remaining for any SFFR member who is interested. Tickets are $34 each and will come with a commemorative Pride scarf. Tickets will go fast, so contact Reggie at snowdenreggie@gmail.com to snag them before they're taken!

Last Chance To Get Paris Gay Games Shirts With SF Track & Field!
SF Track & Field Club is doing another order of Paris Gay Games shirts. If interested, please send an email to aguilar.phillip67@gmail.com and include the number of shirts and sizes you want. They are $20 each.

Fundraising Page & Event For 1000 Mile Club Documentary
SFFR member Jim Maloney, who volunteers with the 1000 Mile Club at San Quentin Prison, let us know about a filmmaker, documenting the inmate club members as they prepare for a November marathon in the prison yard. There is a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the filming, culminating with a March 16th (Thursday) event for anyone interested in participating:

  • 7:00-7:30 - Free Community Run, led by volunteer coaches of the 1000 Mile Club
  • 7:30-9:00 Refreshments - Special video screening and Q&A with the coaches and the filmmaker

SFFR Discount To Stow Lake Stampede 5K And Kid's Mile
Our friends with the Impala Racing Team are putting on the Stow Lake Stampede 5K and Kid's Mile in Golden Gate Park on April 23rd. The event is a short course Pacific Association event, and is open to the entire running community. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to Girls on The Run, Bay Area.

Run For Tourism Offer To Collaborate
Run For Tourism is a group developing a platform dedicated to all the run-lovers in the world, particularly to those who frequently travel and would like to know where to go running while they are visiting a new place. They're gathering information on several cities in the world and are looking for someone in San Francisco.

The club is looking for help in the following roles:

  • Race Circuit Coordinator
  • Footlocker (in addition to the amazing Bob Callori)
