Hopefully some of you are enjoying a day off (albeit a foggy, windy, chilly day, but hey, it's summer in SF!)

Recap/Thanks From Last Week
Last week we had a Pride Run Meeting and completed the halfway mark of our Couch To 5K program. A huge thanks to everyone helping out with the Pride Run and a huge congrats to the Couch To 5k-ers for your amazing efforts!

Pride Run Registration Open!
Our biggest yearly event is the Pride Run. Register to participate and sign on for another fantastic event (June 24th), this time benefitting Alliance Health Project. You also get race swag and the benefit of an early-morning exercise on Pride Weekend! Register here.

June Movie Night - 6/2 - 7pm
The fantastic Chris Neal and Christopher Wiseman are teaming up to put on a special, Frameline Festival-Themed Movie Night! Head to Chris Neal's house at 7 for food, followed by a trailer from the upcoming Frameline41 and selected shorts from past Festivals. There will also be special prizes! Cost is $5 for members and $10 for everyone else. Learn more here.

Couch To 5K Continues! - 5/23, 5/25, 5/27

Static And Post-Run Stretching With PT Specialist This Saturday!
The amazing Meghan Taff with BAK Physical Therapy returns for another round of static and post-run stretching for our Saturday runners/walkers! Meghan will meet up with us right before our first circle and offer the opportunity for warm up and cool down stretching, as well as giving any pointers. Learn more here.

We Need You! - Volunteer at the Pride Run and Pride Meet!
The club is looking for help in the following roles:

East Bay FrontRunners & Walkers Makes History!
Many of you know the amazing Darlene Hall, who has run with SFFR as well. Darlene is currently the President of EBFRW and has made FrontRunners history as the first, black lesbian President of a FrontRunners club. A huge congrats to Darlene! Check out an interview and hear her thoughts about the milestone, what it means to be President, and how we can all make our club more safe and inclusive.

Sin City Shootout Discount
The Sin City Shootout takes place in January of next year. Past SFFR President, Reggie Snowden, has secured a discount password. In July, he will also have Free T-shirts to distribute to any members interested on a first come, first serve basis. Hotel reservations will open in August. For all the info, reach out to Reggie at snowdenreggie@gmail.com

Have A Suggestion? Share It With The Board!
