By Brian Ray

Did you hear?! The board is reconsidering their decision to eliminate the non-Saturday runs and pushing the start time to 10am! (thanks for putting up with our April Fools shenanigans). Here's your guide to all things FrontRunners happening in the week ahead...

Thanks/Recap Of Last Week
Last week we had a Pride Run meeting and a Happy Hour at Badlands. Thanks to Ted and Jin for planning the awesome events and to everyone who made it out! Stay tuned for a special Saturday Board Brunch on Easter weekend!

Announcing the SFFR Couch-To-5K!
Starting mid/late April, we will be offering a couch-to-5K program to members, newcomers, and friends. This 9-week program will start at a very easy and light level, working all the way up to a 5K (3 miles) during the 2017 SFFR Pride Run. Stay tuned for more specifics, but please share with your network so we can build a fantastic group!

April Board Meeting - 4/3
The SFFR Board will be meeting on Monday, April 3rd, at 7pm. Any member is welcome to attend and share thoughts, concerns, or ideas during the first 30 minutes of the meeting. You can also email or speak with us before any meeting and we'll happily discuss. Learn more here.

Movie Night - La La Land - 4/14
The amazing Dan Valins is graciously hosting April Movie Night, two Fridays from now. He'll be showing La La Land and the cost for food will be $5 for members and $10 for non members (just join already!). Learn more here.

SFFR App - Renewed Members Re-Enabled
Members for the SFFR App who have recently paid their dues are now re-enabled (previously lost access on March 8). We will not be sending any individual email reminder notice.

We Need You! - Club And Pride Run Positions Open
The club is looking for help in the following roles:

  • Footlocker (in addition to the amazing Bob Callori)
  • Pride Run (multiple positions)

Please let us know if you are interested and want to know more by emailing

Have A Suggestion? Share It With The Board!
Tell us what we can improve or what fun event the club can put on or attend: email with your ideas!

Enjoy your week!
