SFFR Annual Awards - Nominations Open!
Announced at our End of the Year Party will be the award winners in categories including Frontunner of the Year, Runner of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year. 2018 SFFR Pride Run Beneficiary - Drum Roll Please!
You nominated, we heard from the nominees, and everyone voted... Our 2018 SFFR Pride Run Beneficiary is Project Homeless Connect! We can now begin fundraising and seeking out sponsors, so congrats to them and we're excited for 2018!
Club Board Meeting - 11/7 - 7PM
This Tuesday, the board will meet for its monthly meeting to discuss upcoming items and recap past events. As always, we welcome any member to attend the first 30 minutes to share ideas, concerns, and anything else. After that, we'll be putting the finishing touches on the End of the Year Party, so board members-only. More details here.
2018 Elections - Candidate Interest
The 2017 Board's term is winding down, and we'll want a new team of amazing Board Members to share their vision with the club! If interested in possibly running for a role, please reach out to Elections Committee members Bob and Alex, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will hear from all the candidates during a special Board Bagel Brunch on November 18th.
Lake Merritt Run With EBFRW - 11/11
In case you missed the EBFRW Alameda run Saturday, they invite you to visit them Saturday, November 11 at Lake Merritt. They meet at the Camron-Stanford House (1418 Lakeside Drive) for one or two laps around the lake or run the hills in the neighborhood. Join them for brunch afterward at the Lakeshore Cafe.
