International Rainbow Run

Stow Lake Boat House, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA
2018 marks the 10th Gay Games taking place in Paris France. Each edition of the Gay Games is associated with an International Rainbow Memorial Run. As San Francisco hosted the first and second Gay Games every edition of the International Rainbow Run begins here In San Francisco. This mirrors the tradition of the Olympic torch being lit in Athens, Greece and then touring the world before arriving at host city. For the next seven month the original flag used during the first games will travel the world, stopping ideally at each of the previous host cities, before arriving in Paris, France.

SF FrontRunners has been very honored to lead the planning and execution of this tradition.

The order of events:

Starts at Stow Lake Boat House, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA
