SFFR Board Meeting
  • 8:00pm-10:00pm pst
  • The SF FrontRunners Board meets every month to discuss upcoming events, updates within the club, and anything else that is club-related. We happily discuss any ideas or issues that members send our way, so feel free to attend or submit an idea or feedback. Newcomers and Women's Outreach Day
  • 9:00am-10:00am pdt
  • The first Saturday of every month is Newcomers and Women's Outreach Day!

This is a great opportunity to welcome everyone to the club and celebrate the diversity within the club as well.

If you know of anyone who might enjoy checking the club out, bring them along to Newcomers and Women's Outreach Day and give them a chance to meet everyone and see what we're all about. From there, we can tell people about our other runs/walks and events and invite them back for Bagel Brunch or another fun activity.

Sunday Long Runs
  • 10:00am-11:30am pst
  • Every Sunday, SFFR has long runs from Fitness SF (formerly Gold's Gym Castro) that leave at 10am. Distances range from 6 miles - 16 miles. We set a "time" goal each week so that people are free to run at their comfortable pace and target their "turn-around" time in such a way so that we all get back at the same time and head out to brunch. Contact Mike deLeon or Robby Scalise for more information at rcscalise@yahoo.com. We typically grab brunch after the run!

How do I filter the calendar to the information relevant to me?

The calendar displays all of the information based on "tags". Each key area of the website has a tag.

  • Click on "Show Tag Menu"
  • Click on the check boxes that relate to the information you want to see. If you click in the "Show All Tags" box, all of the available calendar events will be displayed. If you click "Show All Tags" a second time, all of the boxes will uncheck. This is a quick way to remove all tags so you don't need to uncheck each one.
  • Your internet browser will remember your preferences so the next time you log in on that system, you'll see the same information. If you create a login id, you will be able to log in from any location and see the expected information.
  • Another option is to go to the relevant page (i.e. Pride Run tab for Pride Run information), where the relevant information for each key area will always be displayed.

Once you get the calendar customized, you may use the buttons on the bottom to subscribe to the feeds (i.e. bring them into your desktop calendar, or smartphone)!
